I have thick, coarse, dry, frizzy hair and usually wash 1-2x per week without getting greasy. The original formulation of this shampoo was my holy grail. I literally noticed a difference after one use. It was like that shampoo was made specifically for me. I stockpiled bottles when I heard they were reformulating. Well, I ran out of my stockpile and wanted to give the new version of this shampoo a try. Unfortunately it just doesn’t work for my hair type. It feels almost like a greasy silicone coating over my hair, and my frizz has returned. None of my products work well with this shampoo either (they look too greasy usually, which I’ve never had a problem with before). I am devastated to lose my holy grail. If you have less dryness and finer hair, this may work better for you.
